About our monthly meetings               

On the Thursday following a combine trial there is a meeting of the NKTC clubs at the Metrogas Sports Club in Eltham. The start time is 8.30pm and any club member is welcome to attend to express an opinion on how we should run our sport for the benefit of our clubs. The combine meets in a side room off the main bar and depends on those club members who give up their time to have a drink, a chat and decide on how we want to run the combine. Each meeting takes about 90 minutes to get through the agenda and is run on an informal basis guided by the Chairman, a Secretary and members with experience. This successful format has been in place for many years and allows every one to contribute without worrying about absolute formal protocol. Votes that need to be held are recorded and minutes of each meeting are published using email, post and on this website. An Annual General Meeting is held after the October trial with a start time of 8.00pm prior to the normal meeting.

Metrogas Sports Club directions.                       

In Avery Hill Road, New Eltham, London SE9 there is a road named Sidewood Road which is directly opposite the unnamed road that leads to the Metrogas Sports Ground. You turn into this unnamed road from Avery Hill Road and immediately go through a raised barrier, there are speed humps to go over and you take the first turning on the right which is one of the parking areas. To get to the clubhouse you go through the chain link double gate and follow the path to the entrance. We are in the bar area prior to the meeting which has a start time of 8.30pm and it is held in one of the side rooms.
