The NKTC classes that each combine club will run for 2009 are as follows;

A club may also decide to run a beginner or clubman route (M) for any rider which will not score points or awards but will be marked and may appear in the results.

The white route is for the Expert & Youth Expert classes.                                                 

The blue route is for the Expert B, Intermediate, Over 40, Twinshock Blue and Youth Intermediate classes.

The red route is for the Intermediate B, Novice, Over 50, Pre67 / Twinshock Red and Youth Novice classes.                                     

The yellow route is for beginner or clubman class.

The Expert B class riders will ride on the blue (Intermediate) route except at sections noted 'Expert B ride White' when they will ride all of the Expert white route, up to a maximum of 50% of the sections set out, by the Clerk of Course. Their riding number card will have a blue background with a black B written next to the number.

The Intermediate B class riders will ride on the red (Novice) route except at sections noted 'Intermediate B ride Blue' when they will ride all of the Intermediate blue route, up to a maximum of 50% of the sections set out, by the Clerk of Course. Their riding number card will have a red background with a black B written next to the number.
