NORTH KENT TRIALS COMBINE MEETING HELD 13th September 2007.

www.nktc.org.uk

Clubs Present: Bexleyheath, Double Five, Erith, Sidcup. (4 clubs with 9 members present) not a quorum of clubs so no decisions can be taken at the meeting.

Chair: Colin Mote

Apologies for absence: Andy Hogg, Peter Burton, Dennis Wakeman, Brian Jarvis, Roger Abbott, Gordon Davis and Barry Wilmot were accepted

Minutes of Last Meeting: Ok

Matters Arising from those minutes: The question of insurance cover for roadwork is ongoing.

August 11th & 12th – Kent Youth running Youth British Championship round at Cowden: Kent Youth put on an excellent event despite having to move it to Hourne Farm due to the Foot & Mouth restrictions in place, well done to Andy Hogg and team.

September 9th Trial Bexleyheath round 7: Stewards report read out with 30 entries in the programme, 2 non – starters and 7 entries on the day. The event started on time and was an excellent days sport for all those who were spoken to, well done to Paul Stephen and his team.

October 14th Trial Kent & Sussex round 8: All ok and at Hourne Farm, Bexleyheath to provide the Steward.

November 4th Trial Sidcup round 9: Assumed to be ok and apparently some repair work needs to be done there, Kent & Sussex to provide the Steward.

SE Centre Trials Combine rules update: Discussion on Document 5 about some of the rules that need a decision on day and full details on the website www.SouthEastTrialsCombine.org.uk

Items for NKTC AGM: 1.To introduce an Over 40 class on the blue route. 2. To remove the requirement to upgrade if you win any class. Discussion took place and there may be more from clubs present at the AGM.

Any other business: Suggested that online rider feedback be published on the NKTC website so that anyone who looks at the site can see what the riders thought of it, agreed in principle, to be carried over to next meeting.

Should our meetings take place every other month, discussion, to be carried over to next meeting?

The Foot & Mouth restrictions have meant that the B&W trial on Sun 16th will not go ahead at Chads Farm; a replacement might be on and will find out tomorrow. Will be noted on combine website
