NORTH KENT TRIALS COMBINE MEETING HELD 14th June 2007.
Clubs Present: Bexleyheath, Double Five, Erith, Kent Youth, Sidcup. (5 clubs with 9 members present)

Apologies for absence: Dennis Wakeman, Dennis Fleet and Barry Wilmot were accepted
Minutes of Last Meeting: Ok
Matters Arising from those minutes: Discussion on tyre pressure when roadwork is involved.
June 10th Trial Erith round 5: Stewards report read out; directions to trial well marked out, sections well set out to Combine standards and most competitors enjoyed the event, 63 starters, 4 laps of 10 sections, event started on time. Results handed round.
Comment from those present at the trial; some hopping on the white route and yes it was a good trial.
The organisers have very few club members to call on to observe and just made it this year. Next year they will require help to observe and marshal or they may not be able to run the event. Gordon Davis thanked all the observers.
July 8th Trial Double Five round 6: All ok at Chads Farm; the diversion because of the Tour de France route may cause some delay to competitors arriving, there will be something about it in the programme. Erith to provide the Steward.
August 12th – no combine event: No NKTC meeting on the 16th August.
August 11th & 12th – Kent Youth running Youth British Championship round at Cowden: Kent Youth will need 20 observers and punch card clippers each day. Contact Andy Hogg if you can help 07894 806788
Question asked at SE Centre Board mtg 16th May 2007: The follow up to the question about Youth and the 125cc category reply was handed round as well as a copy of the initial question (full text on website). Part of the response covering 16 year old’s on 125’s on the road was questioned as you need to be 17 to ride a 125 on the road, 16 year old’s are restricted to 50cc mopeds with an approx 30mph speed limiter.
