NORTH KENT TRIALS COMBINE MEETING HELD 15th March 2007.
Clubs Present: Sidcup, Bexleyheath, Erith, Double Five, Kent Youth, Kent & Sussex, Owls. (7 clubs with 9 members present)

Matters Arising: None
Mar 11th Trial Wickham round 2: Results not available yet; no Stewards report received yet. Results of the feedback from the Online Riders Survey were handed round and they were all positive, including the comments from the rider who had fallen badly and needed to be taken to hospital. Intermediate B class missed from programme but the results will be corrected for the combine aggregates when published. Comment from those present; ‘a good trial’ and ‘the usual hard Wickham trial’.
Apr 8th Trial Kent Youth round 3: All ok and at Whitepost Farm, Wickham to provide the Steward. May need help with the observing.
May 13th Trial Owls round 4: All ok; at Penshurst and Kent Youth to provide the Steward.
Information from SE Trials Combine AGM & Mtg: Advised that the new Chairman is Jim Connor and the new Secretary is Steve Westley, discussion about what went on. Two reports will be in the April TSM. (Introduction from Jim Connor and minutes of meeting)
Changes in 2007 Handbook: There are quite a few changes and, the vertical line advising of a change has been included this year. Importantly each club must have a Child Protection Officer at their trial, if one is not specifically appointed it is the Secretary of the meeting who must take on the position; Clubs need to read up and be aware of this ruling. Note a child as defined by the Child Protection legislation is defined as someone who is under 18 years of age or is a vulnerable adult.
Any other business: Our 2006 Championship Trophies should be ready for presentation at the Kent Youth trial. A note to this effect will go in the programme.
