Each team must consist of three riders from the same club and one observer who need not be, and all four must be named before the close to get an official Team entry.
You enter this combine trial individually using the regs and entry form in the TSM.
You then sort out who is going to form a team with you and recruit your observer. You then either email the four names to the secretary or write them down on a sheet of paper and put it in the same envelope as your entry form. Do not forget to give your team a name
This event does not count for any championship and it is simply that the winning team whose riders are in the same NKTC club hold the team award for the year.
Solo entries will be accepted if they do not wish to be part of a team.
The riders that form the team can be from any combination of the NKTC classes as long as they are in the class that they ride for the 2010 season. Individual points gained in the class are added together to form the team result. Points are only awarded to NKTC riders.
ACU membership cards for 2010 must be shown when signing on. If you have not got a 2010 card your club secretary must confirm to us that they have very recently signed your form or you will be required to complete a new form and pay the £10 trials registration fee
The observer for the team must sign on with the team riders.
The intention is to set out a minimum of ten sections and aim for each club to provide at least one team with an observer. This means that larger clubs will be able to enter more than one team but only one of their observers may be needed to help run the trial.
One observer per club will only work if each club enters a team. Please get the entries in early before the closing date so the course can be set out taking account of the number of observers available. If each club cannot enter a team then observers will be selected by ballot from the other Team entries.
All late information will be on the website.
Teams will be started before solo riders whatever their entry number in the programme.
On the day a team may be created from solo rider entries, not necessarily from the same club, as long as they provide an observer should one be required and on the understanding that they will not be eligible to win the award.
Entries on the day do not qualify for points.
A backmarker may be used due to time constraints.
