
Practice Permits (for
Grasstrack, Enduro and Trials)
A Practice Permit can be
issued for an event aimed at improving riding skills within a club environment:
- The event shall be
organised by an ACU affiliated club
- The event must be run
by a regional or above Clerk of the Course
- The permit is issued by
the club’s usual permit issuing authority
- The course/sections
shall be the responsibility of the Clerk of the Course
- There must be no timing
of the participants
- There must be no
competitive activity
- There must be no awards
or prizes
- Any charges made should
be to cover expenses only
- A holder of a current
first aid qualification should be present
Training Permits
A Training Permit can be issued for
running a training event with appropriately certified ACU coaches/instructors to
teach and develop riding skills

The event is organised by an ACU affiliated club
- The event is run by the
appropriately certified ACU coach/instructor
- The training permit is
issued by the Training Dept at ACU House
- The course/sections are
the responsibility of the coach/instructor
- There must be no
competitive activity
- The ACU
coach/instructor must have a current first aid qualification
- The training event must
be run in accordance with the Rider Training Guidelines
